Pandora
The precious little fox on the cover stole my heart, and after reading this book you'll understand why. This book fits in perfectly with the SRP theme this year, but of course we just ended our program! Still, it's a great book in teaching kids to save the environment around them. The illustrations are truly breathtaking, and I promise you won't be disappointed after you see read book.
Where is Bear?
Oh, I love a good book about bears, and this one is wonderful! All through the book a little boy is trying to find his bear, and of course you can see him peeking out from behind all the items on each page. There is a really cute surprise ending, but what is it? This time I will tell you, the bear is holding the little boy's teddy bear! I plan on using this book in September, and having my bear puppet pop up behind me as I read, so that the kids can see the bear not only in the book but in person too!
Marigold Bakes a Cake
Oh, this cake is so adorable! I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of cats, but this book won me over! Marigold is just trying to bake a cake, but all the ingredients keep going wrong! I plan on reading this book and using props with it as I go. I'm so excited to use this in an upcoming food themed storytime!
Gotta Go, Buffalo!
I am a sucker for lift-the-flap books, and this one is wonderful! We have all heard those cute silly goodbyes, like the one on the cover. But there are so many more I didn't know about! What a fun way to share them with the kids, and help teach rhyming at the same time!
Little Excavator
Oh, I just love the cute little puppy running behind the happy little excavator! This book is a great read-aloud with wonderful illustrations too. There are all kinds of expressive sounds that the kids can make along with you as you're reading this delightful book!
The Giant Jumperee
Oh my, this book makes you want to jump for joy! A big, ferocious animal is making everybody jump! But is it really a big, scary animal? I can't spoil the book for you, you'll have to read it to find out!

I love interactive picture books, and this one is wonderful! All through the book little Doug needs to find his doggie! This will make a wonderful read-aloud to use in storytime. The kids can help you find Doug's dog by shaking and doing all kinds of fun things!
