It's that time of year again....Halloween!!!!!!! Well, almost anyway. Monday we had our annual pumpkin party, with wonderful attendance! 110 kids and 90 adults! Below are pictures of our crafts and games. I didn't get a picture of our food, sorry about that.

8.) Ghost Bowling Pins Game
This game was setup outside, which was a little rough bowling on our sidewalk, but we made it work!
9.) Witch Ring Toss
This was an outside game also, and from what I heard the kids loved it!
10.) Games
I didn't get a picture of my other games, but we also had a tic-tac-toe game setup outside. For the X and O's I made letters on the computer that looked liked bones.
Inside we had Halloween bingo and Halloween musical chairs.
11.) Food
We served up mini-cupcakes, which worked out fabulous, except for one thing. I never imagined how much icing it would take to frost that many cupcakes! I might seriously rethink this for next year.
We also served three pans of brownies, two brain jello molds, a family size bag of plain chips, three rice krispie snakes and candy corn.
Plus....we had our popcorn machine going the whole time, serving popcorn.
Shew....I'm tired! The only food I'm aware that we had left was a little bit of popcorn and a handful of brownies.
Every year we have our annual pumpkin party, and this year I was very hopeful that we would have a good turnout. Well, did we ever! We had a total of 180 people!!! Yowza! 115 kids and 65 adults! Now, this wasn't all at once, everyone came and went at different times, but I am so thrilled! I will be planning very soon for next year, I am so excited!!!
All of the crafts and food were completely wiped out. So we are going to plan for extra crafts for next year. Who knows what our turnout will be, but last year our total was only 100, so we are hoping that we will just continue to rise in our attendance!

*I had a sign for the Cheetoh balls, saying ghost poop, but I ran out of space to put it out!
*These are sugar wafers, covered with icing. We only decorated a pack, but next year two packs will definitely need to be done!

*Musical tombstones. I was very lucky to find these fabric chair covers on vacation one year. The kids go crazy over this game! It's just like musical chairs, and whomever wins will get a prize!

*The other game we played was pumpkin putt-putt. We always have books for prizes, and this year I tried to have some of the popular book series out, which helped a lot! Of course, I had little stretchy skeletons, bouncy eyeballs and other fun items for prizes. These went very quickly. I do have to say, the books went out surprisingly well! I would like to try and get some local donations for next year. I'd love to hear some comments about what you might do for prizes. Please, leave feedback!

It's that time of year again! Time for our annual pumpkin party! Every year we have a party filled with crafts, games and food. It's open for ages preschool through elementary. The kids are welcome to come dressed in costume. This year was a good turnout, with 54 kids and 46 adults. All of the crafts went over great, except for the monster weaving. Not sure why, but that happens sometimes. All of the food was eaten very quickly, we didn't have hardly any left! Off to plan for next year!

*I found a great deal on a skull cookie cutter, so I had to make skull brownies! I just cut out the brownies, dusted them with powdered sugar and added candy eyes. I bought the wrong size icing, so the mouths of the skulls didn't turn the way I wanted. The tip was way too big. But they all got eaten very quickly!

This year I was Little Miss Muffet. I wanted to try and wrangle my curly hair into a spider. Let me tell you, that was not easy! Kudos to my mom who made this happen!
