This is my storytime blog! I hope that you find it useful to your planning. I do storytime twice a week at my local library, for preschool and two year-olds. I absolutely love my job and am very blessed to be doing what I love every day!

Apples
Storytime #1:
Opening: Big Books
Fingerplay: Apples
I love apples, they are so sweet!
Let's find a red apple so we can eat!
*For this I hold up different colored apples so that the kids can tell me I have the wrong apple. Eventually I will get to the "red" apple.
Book: Hungry Bunny
Fingerplay: Worm Hiding Game
Little worm, little worm, where can you be?
Let's find you on the count of three!
*For this game, I made three different colored apples that you can open up and see what's inside. I think the kids most enjoyed seeing the pineapple inside one of the apples!
Book: Farmyard Beat
Fingerplay: If You Like to Eat an Apple
If you like to eat an apple, clap your hands. (Repeat)
If you like to eat an apple, lick your lips and make 'em smackle.
If you like to eat an apple, clap your hands.
