Fingerplay:

Three little pigs, rolling in the mud.

Going squishy, squashy, squishy, squashy, if felt so good!

Farmer took one pig out and cleaned him up nice!

Now there are 2 pigs rolling in the mud!

Continue until zero pigs left.

Fingerplay:

Five little frogs went hop, hop, hop

STOP!!!!

Did one of my frogs hop away?

Let’s count them again!


Fingerplay:

If you like to eat an apple, clap your hands! (Repeat)

If you like to eat an apple, lick your lips and make 'em smackle.

If you like to eat an apple, clap your hands.

-Stomp your feet, rub your tummy

Put your hands in the middle and wiggle just so

There’s a CAT inside the barn, and he’s saying MEOW!!!

There’s a MOUSE inside the barn, and he’s saying SQUEAK!!!!

Open up the barn door, before the clock strikes two!

There’s a COW inside the barn, and he’s saying MOO!!!

Open up the barn door, it’s a sunny day!

There’s a HORSE inside the barn, and he’s saying NEIGH!!!

Open up the barn door, sing tra-la-la!

There’s a SHEEP inside the barn, and he’s saying BAA!!

Fingerplay: Ten Little Kittens

Ten little kittens standing in a row

(Palms facing forward, fingers extended.)

They bow their heads to the children just so

(Bend fingers back and forth.)

They run to the left, they run to the right

(Move fingers to alternate sides, wiggling fingers.)

they stretch up tall with all their might.

(Also do high, low, behind, front, fast, slow.)

Along comes a dog, looking for some fun. "Meow!" Away those kittens run! (As you meow, open both hands with fingers extended.  "Run" hands behind back.)

Fingerplay: 5 Little Bugs (Have large bugs for staff to hold up and take down as we do this.)

3 little bugs were flying through the air (make motions with hands)

Buzzing around without a care

Along came a frog with a hippety-hop (Hop up and down)
