1.) Apple Color Sorting
A lot of my games for this month had to do with food! The first game is an apple sorting game. The preschoolers and two's adore sorting items and putting them through the holes on my boxes. I'm constantly worried they will tire of this, but the never do! I wanted to use pom-poms, and I saw the idea online where you can do this through toilet paper rolls also.
2.) Feeding Monkey Bananas
I don't normally have two games for the kids to do like this, but September was such a crazy month, I was a little lazy on my game preparation. Thankfully they really, really seemed to love all the games, so I'm very happy about that! I had two colored bananas for them to feed our monkeys, and I use this a lot too during my storytime. (Just a smaller version, of course.)
3.) Kangaroo Shape Matching
This game is really easy to make, you just download it and print! I was a little apprehensive about doing this with the two's, but they did amazingly well with it!

4.) Carrot Matching
This game I only did with the preschoolers. They did really well matching the carrots with the corresponding letter. The favorite part? Digging through the flower petals!
