Fingerplay/Flannel: Monkey Hiding in Tree
*For this fingerplay, I've made three trees with numbers on the top. I can put them on the flannelboard or attach them to rulers with velcro. The top of the trees will lift up to show what's hiding inside. The kids never seem to tire of guessing games like this and its a wonderful way to introduce numbers, colors and shapes too! Flannel: Animal Sounds Mix-Up
*I love doing this flannel with the kids and its a great teaching tool! I have up on my flannelboard a few animals and then I have the sounds that go along with each animal. Of course, I do get things mixed up quite often, so that the kids can correct me and learn at the same time.
